A bit about me!

Hey! Im Sydney Elaina Buchwald, a Jewish-American artist, living on Long Island. I currently attend Syosset High School as well as Long Island High School for the Arts. I am in the process of applying to 19 schools for a BFA in musical theater, where I hope to further my art and continue to build the skills to help me thrive in a professional setting.

My mom is a music teacher so from a very young age I was able to sing pretty much every song in South Pacific. I attended a regular day camp during the summer where i discovered that I hated sports so my mom put me into a recreational theater program for July and August so I could avoid having to play sports. I ended up falling in love with being on stage and never stopped.

I have been to many different theaters on Long Island but have recently found my home at Raffaele Productions.

When I am not onstage I am most likely making my boyfriend play Roblox with me, playing with my puppies Bella and Daisy or doing something with my Jewish youth group weather it be an organized event or just hanging out with with friends I met there. If Im not doing that, then I am most definitely eating a big bowl of matzo ball soup with noodles.
